This is to prepare our body for the upcoming stresses when we're in the actual exercise. There are times that some people doing exercise starts doing exercise right away. They often neglect the importance of warm-ups to their routines. That's why, after their workouts, they can feel fatigue earlier. DC personal trainer advised that a 5 to 10 minute moderate stretching or even treadmills will do, just to prepare ourselves for our sessions. Stretching also has it's considerations to follow, inappropriate stretching can even trigger the effectiveness of the exercise. When performing a dynamic stretch like a lunge to stretch the groin and thigh muscles, the spine (and pelvis) must remain erect and perpendicular to the floor otherwise the effectiveness is lost. Static stretching may be more effective at the end of the workout session as the muscles will be warm and pliable. ![]() Don't simply rely on the use of machines when you do the exercise. Being dependent on these equipments deprived your body from doing it yourself alone. It is suggested that we should take a balance between exercise using machines and the manual thing which I'm talking about is also advisable.
